Next to last boss done.
Now, onto the final boss and everything involving that.
I have been working with the strength of 10 hobos these passed few days. The entirety of the final dungeon is complete. All that remains now is the final scenes, and the final bosses.
An amount of work not to be underestimated, but still; happy to be this far along.
Yeah, sorry. Not either of those days.I really suck at time projections (In everything, not just game making). Also; it’s not really “part 2” it’s going to be just the full game.
Well Im well into doing the last dungeon. Figuring in all the scenes and maps that I need to make, then beta testing I want to say within the next month the game will be done. I’m always aiming for much sooner than that though.
Lamia was a lot of fun to make, and was the realization of an idea I had floating around for awhile. I probably connect most with Nero; the protagonist mainly because I can sympathize a lot with his problems and confusion.
From the last demo that was entitled “Phantom Legacy Part 1”, a lot has changed.
Gameplay wise:
Nero’s commands were reworked; thus now function far better. (In rm2k3, if you used command based skills you could utilize an exploit that allowed you to perform the command’s action AND the action the character took on the previous term)
Lilith now has a more solidified role in combat as an all around character / stat debuffer.
The character, Corvus was added to the game using a previously discarded charge mechanic.
Another character, Lamia was also added to the game. A glass canon character that can double her own attack power at the cost of health over time.
Story wise, the game resembles more the first and more popular iteration. You begin the game as an outcast in a small backwards village and things progress from there.
